Mammography Technologist

Job Description Summary: The Mammography Technologist is responsible for the quality and efficient completion of radiologic procedures for diagnostic interpretation. They are responsible for providing patient education, quality patient care, and meeting all regulatory compliance. Schedule: Day Shift QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for positions requiring driving, with a valid driver’s license). Minimum 2 Years of Experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must successfully pass a background check. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable). Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment. EDUCATION, LICENSURE(S), AND CERTIFICATION(S) Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire or transfer) EXPERIENCE Preferred: Two (2) years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, CT, and MRI technologist. Cross-trained into other modalities, including, but not limited to: CT, MRI, and DEXA.
