Occupational Therapist

We are looking for a talented Occupational Therapistfor the school year. Responsibilities would include: Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans. Provide direct occupational therapy services to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the learning environment. Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to improve student accessibility. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions. Provide training and consultation to teachers and staff on strategies to support student independence. Required Qualifications: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Illinois OT Licensure (issued by the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation - IDFPR). Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Approval as a Related Service Provider (if required for school-based roles). NBCOT Certification preferred. Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
