Job Role

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, which include thorough physical exams and extensive reviews of medical history.
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results.
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients.
• Provide critical intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures.
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, such as medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
