Pega Lead System Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Pega Lead System Architect for a Remote position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

As the Pega Lead System Architect, you will be responsible for the hands-on, end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise-class, high-performing, and highly integrated Pega-based solutions. This role focuses on creating scalable applications built for rapid change that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the overall application, including re-usable classes and frameworks, component design, and UI design
• Provide a scalable and resilient solution that meets functional and non-functional requirements
• Design and implement PEGA Enterprise Class Rules, Flows, Activities, Reports, Correspondence, and Case Management
• Implement Integrations, Data Pages, Agents, Queue Processor and Job Scheduler, UI design, and Dashboards
• Handle BIX Troubleshooting and debugging
• Resolve Accessibility issues for UI in Theme Cosmos
• Automate testing, package deployment, verification, and application monitoring
• Manage Pega server configuration and Oracle database query optimization for performance testing
• Configure Stream and Search, and troubleshoot issues identified in load volume tests
• Adhere to Agile scrum, Pega code reviews, guardrail compliance, and UI design system best practices, including Pega Cosmos implementation

Requirements:

• PEGA CLSA or PEGA CSSA certification
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior Pega Developer
• Experience with Pega / PegaRules Process Commander (PRPC)
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL / PLSQL
• Experience with modern web technologies including JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS3, SOAP, REST/JSON, and XML
• Knowledge of UI design, specifically with Pega Cosmos

Desired skills:

• Experience with Agile Scrum, Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Splunk
• Familiarity with Kafka, Hadoop, and Selenium
• Knowledge of Microservices, APIs, and CI/CD tools for deployment and unit test automation
• Experience with AI tools like Copilot

Pay range: $74.51 - $82.51 per hour
