Surgery - General Physician

We are seeking a Board-CertifiedVascular Surgery Physician for locums coverage at a Level I Trauma Center inYoungstown, Ohio. This opportunity offers a consistent five-day coverage blockeach month with both inpatient and emergency department responsibilities andcall coverage.

PositionHighlights

• Start Date: January 2027
• Coverage: One consecutive 5-day period per month
• Shift: 24-hour coverage
• Schedule: Five consecutive days including call, with possible weekend coverage
• Call: Yes
• Call Type: Beeper/phone call and in-house call
• Call Ratio: 1:5
• Average Call Back: Approximately 1 hour
• Patient Population: 100% adult and geriatric
• Practice Setting: 100% inpatient
• Average Daily Census: 10-15 patients
• Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

The Vascular SurgeryPhysician will provide comprehensive inpatient vascular surgery coverage,including:

• Surgical evaluation and management
• Inpatient rounding and care
• Emergency Department consultations and coverage
• Management of patients throughout inpatient units
• 24-hour call coverage
• Evaluation and treatment of urgent and emergent vascular conditions

Requirements

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Fellowship trained
• Active O hio medical license
• ACLS
• BLS
