As an After School Group Leader with Kama'āina Kids , you'll spend your afternoons creating a place where elementary-age keiki feel safe, included, and excited to be there. You'll lead games, plan activities, help with homework, and build the kind of relationships that can make a real difference in a child's day.

Work That Fits Into Your Life

Looking for meaningful part-time work that still leaves your evenings and weekends free?

• Monday-Friday afternoons
• Most shifts are approximately 1:30 PM-5:30 PM
• Wednesdays begin around 12:30 PM for early release
• No evenings
• No weekends
• No holiday work

This schedule can be a great fit for college students, future teachers, coaches, retirees, parents returning to the workforce , or anyone looking for rewarding part-time work.
What Your Afternoons Will Look Like

No two days are exactly the same. You might organize an outdoor game, help a student finish their homework, set up an art project, lead a STEM activity, or simply be the encouraging adult a child needs that afternoon.

You'll:

• Lead games, recreation, and outdoor activities
• Plan arts, crafts, STEM, and other enrichment activities
• Support children with homework and schoolwork
• Encourage teamwork, confidence, and positive behavior
• Build positive relationships with keiki and their families
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized program

Who We're Looking For

You don't need years of childcare experience to make an impact here.

We're looking for someone who:

• Genuinely enjoys working with elementary-age children
• Brings energy and enthusiasm to a group
• Is dependable, patient, and encouraging
• Can confidently lead activities and keep children engaged
• Works well as part of a team
• Is at least 18 years old and has a high school diploma or GED
