Job Title: Fusion Technician Assembler

Job Description

Support a clean energy project through the fabrication and installation of capacitors. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility, assembling mechanical and electronic components, following detailed technical instructions, and contributing directly to innovative clean energy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and secure workspace.
• Perform regular quality checks on assemblies and components to ensure they meet specifications and performance standards.
• Read, interpret, and follow technical instructions, blueprints, and drawings to complete mechanical and electronic assembly tasks.
• Assemble electronic components, including crimping, cable assembly, wiring, and mechanical assembly of capacitor-related parts.
• Use measuring tools and related equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances during fabrication and installation work.
• Follow detailed work instructions and production processes consistently to support reliable fabrication and installation of capacitors.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and project timelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and cleanroom requirements, including appropriate attire, when working in sensitive areas.
• Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week on either first or second shift, with optional overtime as needed to support project demands.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in assembly, production, or a closely related hands-on technical role.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in performing assembly, quality checks, and documentation tasks.
• Ability to read and follow detailed technical instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools in a production or assembly environment.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and electronic assembly, including wiring, crimping, cable work, and cable assembly.
• Capability to stand, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds for prolonged periods in a production setting.
• Strong focus on maintaining a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
• Reliability in working scheduled shifts (first or second) and meeting attendance expectations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a cleanroom or other controlled environments is beneficial.
• Experience in mechanical or electronic production environments is a plus.
• Comfort working with strict security protocols in a high-sensitivity technology facility.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
• No specific medical clearances or formal certifications are required for this role.

Work Environment

The role is based in a modern, state-of-the-art facility in Everett, Washington, featuring cleanroom areas, a new warehouse for generator placement, and strict security protocols due to the high sensitivity of the technology. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with optional overtime. First shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and second shift runs from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. You will work in a production and assembly environment using mechanical and electronic assembly tools, including hand tools, power tools, wiring equipment, crimping tools, and measuring instruments. When working in the cleanroom, you must wear a bunny suit and gloves as part of the required dress code to maintain cleanliness and protect sensitive equipment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.40/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
