Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2176.00/week - Job Summary: Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide surgical care within the Operating Room. The RN will support various surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes during operative procedures. Responsibilities: Coordinate and assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties including general, ortho, plastics, GI, urology, and pediatric dental. Maintain sterile techniques and proper infection control standards throughout operations. Administer medications, including anesthetic agents, and monitor patient vital signs during surgery. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure efficient operation flow. Document all patient care activities accurately in electronic health records. Comply with licensing, certification, and hospital policies, including orientation and ongoing competency assessments. Qualifications: Hold a valid Mississippi RN license or eligible for licensure. Possess at least 2 years of recent OR nursing experience. Successfully complete BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (if applicable). Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR and Omnicell medication system. Ability to work a flexible schedule including call, weekends, and in rotation with staff.
