Position: Cloud Engineer

Location: Hybrid - 3 times/month onsite; Any of the offices in:
- TX Westlake
- NC Durham
- MA Boston
- NH Merrimack
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who wants to help teams scale through production best practices, developer guidance, real-time metrics, reference apps and automation. You are a quick learner and problem-solving engineer that enjoys tackling challenging business problems with software. As part of the SRE team, you will help define the standards for reliability, availability, performance, scalability, security, resiliency, and efficiency of a service. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Cloud (AWS) deployment and best practices.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 2-3 years of Software Engineering experience
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
- Hands on experience in software development with a good understanding of test-driven development
- Experience in software development and a deep understanding of the software life cycle stages
- Proven expertise and passion for delivering complex technology solutions and achieving results
- Financial services experience preferred
- Application development on Public Cloud AWS Managed Services, ECS, EC2, EKS, Serverless Framework/Lambda, API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, Route53
- Prior experience with Java, JS, Python, NodeJS, Spring
- REST API development leveraging Java, SpringBoot, NodeJS
- Demonstrated ability to utilize modern monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Splunk)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Terraform/Concourse/Jenkins
- Strong database skills [relational, no-sql, caching]
