Perform all necessary documentations i.e. delivery/pick up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s and scaffold inspection checklists, etc. Foreman 1 must act as a mentor and coach to the Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters to aid in their development. Foreman 1 is required to work with tools from to time.Education or experience that prepares you for success:High School Diploma or equivalentScaffold E&D Lead Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experienceSome trade school preferred but not requiredValid driver’s licenseAbility to work comfortably and safely at considerable heightsBilingual a plusKnowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:Must be able to safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to (3) Lead Carpenters, who each run a small crew, to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of the E&D Foreman 2 or E&D SupervisorMust have good knowledge of the OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffoldingMust have a good knowledge and understanding of the various types of scaffolding material being used so that the intended loads of the scaffolding are not exceededThe physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
