Experienced Accountant - Financial Accounting - Hybrid

Job Summary This role completes the annual budget, performs month-end close functions, and compiles income statements. The account reconciliations, insurance renewals, billings, cost center assignments, and charge master are maintained. Key Responsibilities Perform month-end functions such as monthly billing, sales tax reports, patient refund reports, and bank reconciliations. Complete analytic projects, prepare reports, and perform financial analysis, including audit and cost reporting schedules. Assist with accounts payable issues when needed. Prepare and post journal entries ensuring accurate accounting records. Initiate quality improvements. Analyze financial and statistical data to provide quality information for decision making and regulatory purposes. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. A minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience will be accepted in lieu of degree. Work Experience: Required 2 years of relevant accounting experience working with little supervision. A minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience accepted in lieu of degree. Certifications: Preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in computers, software, and web-based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally. Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to perform several tasks simultaneously. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills and self‑directed approach. Physical and Environmental Demands Work is predominantly sedentary. Occasional exertion up to 10 pounds. No exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue. No occupational risk for communicable diseases.
