Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children's wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Montreal.The Sr. Packaging Designer is responsible for leading the packaging design strategy, team performance, and development processes across brands. This role sets direction, ensures consistency and quality, and drives cross-functional alignment while overseeing execution and guiding the packaging team.Key Accountabilities:Oversee and direct packaging design and development across brands, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, quality standards, and business objectivesLead market research initiatives and present insights and opportunities to leadership for approval and implementationEstablish and communicate packaging design standards, processes, and updates across cross-functional teams and vendorsOversee and guide the approval process for digital and physical submits, ensuring consistency in quality, color, materials, and finishes across all brandsLead cross-functional alignment across Design, Sales, Marketing, Product Approval, and Sourcing teams to ensure strategic and operational alignmentIdentify and review packaging design, material, and manufacturing strategies to improve cost, efficiency, and scalability; align with leadership on implementationOversee vendor performance and resolve complex production, quality, and approval issuesEnsure packaging sample schedules are maintained, proactively addressing risks and implementing solutions to meet deadlinesDrive development and execution of on-brand packaging solutions across categories, ensuring consistency and innovationOversee packaging audits and reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality standardsOwn communication of process updates, priorities, and key initiatives to internal teams and external partnersOversee and ensure accuracy of packaging approvals within VSN, maintain system integrity, tracking consistency, and visibility across teams and overseas officesDrive process improvements to enhance packaging development workflows, efficiency, and overall team performanceEnsure all packaging meets seasonal calendar deadlines and business requirementsSpecial projects as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities/Education:Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or related field7+ years of work experience in related fieldProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPointProficient in Adobe IllustratorAbility to travel as neededExcellent organizational, communication and time management skills with excellent proof-reading skills with attention to detailMust be a strategic thinker, persuasive and collaborative, flexible with changes, and collaborativeBrand appropriate aestheticConsistent in-office presence is vital to the role as it is for all Haddad Brands team members, so that we all have a full appreciation, aesthetically and tactilely, of the qualities that define our brand partners' products and set them apart from their competitors.
