Senior - Palo Alto Firewall Engineer

Network Security Engineer (Palo Alto) – LATAM | Remote

We are currently looking for a Network Security Engineer to join a global team focused on perimeter security and firewall operations within enterprise environments.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on experience in Palo Alto firewalls, looking to work in a dynamic, high-impact security team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and support Palo Alto firewall environments in enterprise settings
• Perform incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to network security
• Implement and maintain security policies, rules, and configurations
• Support VPNs, proxies, IPS, and perimeter security technologies
• Work closely with global teams to ensure secure and reliable network operations
• Contribute to continuous security improvements and operational excellence

Mandatory Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (MUST HAVE)
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and security principles
• Experience in firewall administration and incident management
• Advanced English level (MUST HAVE – daily interaction with global teams)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network/security issues

Nice to Have

• PCNSE certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Experience with cloud networking (Azure preferred)
• Exposure to packet analysis, monitoring, and logging tools
• Experience in large-scale / enterprise environments

What we are looking for

A hands-on engineer with strong experience in Palo Alto firewalls and solid English communication skills, comfortable operating in complex environments and interacting with global teams on a daily basis.
