Warehouse Technician

Participate in all aspects of shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse Ability to manage the installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously Ability to kit and assemble custom component packages Ability to enroll computer systems into on-line systems for software downloads, update operating systems or firmware updates. Ability to install asset tracking labels or bios configurations to meet customer standards Ability to work with limited supervision daily Ability to perform inventory counts and audits as needed Ability to perform data collection and recording to ensure quality standards meet the objectives of the project Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED Associate degree or minimum of two years’ computer repair experience preferred Ability to operate material handling equipment – Forklift Operator Certificate preferred A working knowledge of different computer components to assemble and disassemble a wide variety of computers a must Preferred Skills Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and work with customers, teams, and management at all levels in a cross-functional environment Excellent oral and written communications; an ability to present and discuss departmental information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding no matter what the level of audience Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes Critical thinking and problem solving Excellent planning and organizational skills Experience with UPS program and shipping policies Work Environment/Physical Demands: Sitting for extended periods of time in a climate-controlled office environment. Must have a positive attitude and be very detail oriented Extended periods of time utilizing hand tools needed to repair computers.
