Job Overview A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Life Sciences Litigation Associate to join its Intellectual Property practice in Redwood City, CA. The candidate will engage in complex patent litigation involving life sciences, medical devices, and pharmaceutical technologies. Duties Handle complex patent litigation matters, including Hatch‑Waxman litigation. Provide strategic dispute counseling for clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Collaborate with a team on sophisticated life sciences patent disputes before federal courts and the PTAB. Engage in depositions and work closely with technical and expert witnesses. Manage complex litigation matters effectively. Requirements Minimum of three years of experience in patent litigation. Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills. Experience with depositions and managing complex litigation. Commitment to excellence and client service. Education Undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or related scientific discipline. Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Member of the Bar in the United States. Registration to practice before the USPTO preferred. Skills Strong analytical and writing skills.
