Job Overview A law firm seeks an entry-level Life Sciences Patent Agent or Scientific Analyst in Palo Alto, California. The role involves preparing and prosecuting patent applications, contributing to prosecution strategy, and providing technical and legal research and analysis for matters pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Duties Prepare and prosecute patent applications Contribute to prosecution strategy Conduct technical and legal research and analysis Provide technical support for PTAB and litigation proceedings Requirements Ph.D. in biology or a related field. Outstanding writing and analytical skills. Top academic credentials. USPTO registration is not required. Education Ph.D. in biology or a related field. Certifications USPTO registration is not required. Skills Strong interest in patent preparation and prosecution. Excellent analytical and research abilities.
