Must have experience in Medical Billing and Insurance. Answer incoming calls, professionally discuss patient bills, and payment plans. Post insurance and patient payments accurately and timely. Analyze and resolve claim denials to maximize revenue and minimize outstanding accounts receivable. Investigate the root causes of denials and provide effective resolution strategies. Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams to gather necessary documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claim statuses and follow-ups. Strong understanding of medical billing and coding processes (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and Modifiers). Excellent understanding of insurance benefits, authorization, and appeal processes. Proficiency in healthcare billing software and Microsoft Office. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
