Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Location

Bagley, MN | Critical Access Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating shifts, including weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process — including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation — for patients with actual or potential health problems
• Perform dependent, interdependent, and independent nursing functions across the continuum of care
• Work across both the Emergency Room and Med/Surg departments, floating between units as staffing needs require
• Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis with staff; may work alone with potential for call
• Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and Omnicell for automated medication dispensing
• Badge in and out at the facility for every shift; wear Navy Blue scrubs per facility requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
• ER training required; must be able to work both Med/Surg and Emergency Room
• Valid Minnesota RN License required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• TNCC or CALS required for Emergency Department practice
• Must live within 80 miles of the facility to be eligible for local placement consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
• 1–2 years of combined Med/Surg and ER experience
• PALS certification preferred
