Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days: 0700–1930 / Nights: 1900–0730) | Onsite | Weekend rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process — including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation — to address actual or potential health problems
• Perform dependent, interdependent, and independent nursing functions across the continuum of care
• Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and Omnicell for automated medication dispensing
• Float between Med/Surg and Emergency Room departments as staffing needs require
• Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis with staff; potential for on-call assignments
• Badge in and out at the facility for all shifts; wear Navy Blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• ER-trained; must be able to work in both Med/Surg and ER settings
• Active Minnesota RN License
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• TNCC or CALS (for Emergency Department) required
• Must live within 80 miles of the facility to be eligible for local placement consideration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1–2 years of combined Med/Surg and ER experience
• Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
• PALS certification preferred
