About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics Profession: Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years, preferably with NICU Level IV experience or Pediatric ICU experience. License: South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license required. RRT license must be in hand at time of start. Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP preferred. Must-Have: Strong clinical skills in bronchoscopy, extubation, NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics. Epic experience preferred. Description: Position/Specialty: RRT / Pediatrics. Schedule: 3x12 days from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Holiday rotation is required. Weekend rotation is required every other weekend. On-call is not required. Float within scope to meet facility needs may depend on experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The facility may accommodate block scheduling with prior approval, but it is not guaranteed. There is a radius rule of 60 miles for candidates. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All time-off requests must be included at the time of submission. The facility allows for one shift to be called off per two weeks. This position may require assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Travelers should be prepared for assignments during hurricane season from June through November, particularly in August and September.
