About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pediatric care, NICU Level IV experience preferred License: Current RRT license in hand required Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: RRT certification Description: Position/Specialty is RRT Pediatrics. Clinician will work three 12-hour shifts during the day. Holiday rotation is required. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. On-call requirements depend on experience. The clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are accepted. Preferred experience includes NICU Level IV or Pediatric ICU. Epic experience is preferred. Accommodations for block scheduling may be considered with approval prior to assignment. A radius rule applies, with a limit of 60 miles. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. All labs must be completed within specified time frames. Modules are non-billable and typically require about four hours to complete. This position involves providing respiratory care to patients in pediatric settings. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
