What You'll Do

The ER RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care of patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessmentsand prioritize care based on acuity levels
• Administer medications, treatments,and emergency interventions in accordance with physician orders andestablished protocols
• Monitor, evaluate, and documentpatient conditions, responses to treatment, and clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians,advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to developand implement patient care plans
• Provide patient and familyeducation regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and dischargeinstructions
• Operate and maintain emergencydepartment equipment while ensuring patient safety and quality standardsare met
• Respond effectively to medicalemergencies, trauma situations, and critical care needs in a fast-pacedenvironment
• Maintain accurate and timelyelectronic medical records and nursing documentation
• Advocate for patients and support aculture of compassionate, patient-centered care
• Adhere to all hospital policies,regulatory requirements, infection prevention standards, and nursing bestpractices
• Correlate the nursing process withthe medical plan of care and organizational policies to ensure safe,effective, and coordinated patient care

What We're Looking For

• Experience with standard nursingand medical equipment
• Strong communication skills andEnglish proficiency
• Passion for delivering exceptional patientcare in a fast-paced environment

Education & Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school ofnursing; BSN preferred
• 2+ years of experience as aRegistered Nurse required
• 1+ year of Emergency Department or relatedspecialty experience preferred
• Current New Mexico RN license (orcompact state license) required
• BLS certification within 6 weeks ofhire
• ACLS, and PALS certificationsrequired
• TNCC certification required within90 days of employment
