Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Swedish First Hill is seeking a full-time physician assistant to work with a well-established, multidisciplinary team. The appointed individual will be responsible for providing collaborative services, including initial and ongoing assessment, diagnosis and treatment and first assisting on surgical cases in the operating rooms. The candidate will possess the ability to assess, triage, and prepare preoperative and postoperative patients in the outpatient, inpatient, ICU and ER settings.

• Monday to Friday schedule with possibility of flexible scheduling (ie. 4x10s)
• Outpatient and Inpatient setting
• Primary location: Swedish First Hill Seattle; Secondary location: Swedish Issaquah
• Background in general surgery preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in surgical patient care preferred
• Compensation is between $144,941 and $188,179 per year
• The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

Swedish Medical Center's First Hill campus is a 697-bed, general medical and surgical hospital in downtown Seattle. The largest of Swedish's five hospitals, First Hill is considered the main Swedish campus. In addition to the hospital and emergency department, the campus is home to the Swedish Cancer Institute and the Swedish Orthopedic Institute. The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including the areas largest childbirth center, NICU and specialty pediatric care.
