Role Description
The Account Executive SLED role is a full-time remote position focused on managing and expanding RingPlan's engagement with State, Local, and Education (SLED) clients in the Western Region. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, building a robust sales pipeline, achieving sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, and providing exceptional customer service. The role also involves researching government contracts, submitting proposals, and travel up to 25% to client meetings and conferences.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience in enterprise sales, account management selling into the SLED market
- Proficiency in leveraging tools like CRM software and prospecting platforms
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of government procurement processes and contracts
- Proven skill in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Unified Communications, Cloud, VoIP and/or telephony

Compensation:
- $80,000-$85000 base ( OTE $140,000)
- Uncapped Commissions
