Amoroso Woodridge is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents in our Harrisburg Facility.***Opportunities to Grow and Advance.

 

*** Regular 8 hour shifts

 

***Weekend Baylor Shifts Available: Work 32 hours (2, 16 hour shifts) and get paid for 40 hours!!!

 

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse is a vital role. You will deliver exceptional bedside care to long-term geriatric residents and short-term post-acute rehabilitation patients under the direction of a RN.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Medication Administration: Safely prepare, administer, and document oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and topical medications to a designated caseload of residents.

• Clinical Treatments: Perform wound care, dressing changes, blood glucose monitoring, oxygen therapy administration, and urinary catheterizations.

• Resident Monitoring: Observe residents for changes in condition, vital signs, or behavioral health, reporting findings immediately to the RN Supervisor or attending Physician.

• Rehabilitation Support: Assist residents with functional mobility and care plans, collaborating with physical, occupational, and speech therapists.

• CNA Supervision: Direct, delegate tasks to, and monitor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure compliance with daily care plans and safety protocols.

• Admissions & Discharges: Assist with the smooth transition of short-term rehab patients, completing skin assessments and reconciling medication orders upon arrival.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Licensures: Active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment.

• Certifications: Active BLS/CPR Certification
