About the Role
This is a full-cycle recruiting role at a lean, high-caliber AI/ML company where every hire genuinely shapes the company's trajectory. You'll work directly alongside founders to identify and land exceptional engineers and GTM leaders, operating as the cornerstone of a deliberately small, high-trust team.
What You'll DoOwn end-to-end recruiting across both technical (engineering, product) and GTM roles.
Build and optimize recruiting operations and tooling, automating workflows wherever possible.
Partner closely with founders and team leads to define role requirements, evaluation criteria, and interview processes.
Develop a deep understanding of a technical AI product to pitch candidates credibly and compellingly.
Source top candidates through high-signal and unconventional channels.
Evaluate candidates using portfolios and projects — not just resumes.
Support onboarding and new hire ramp-up.
Help define and run performance review processes, leveling, and feedback systems.
3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across engineering, product, and GTM roles — this is a dealbreaker requirement.
Proven ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to credibly engage with engineering and product candidates.
Early-stage startup experience with demonstrated ability to work independently and move fast.
Experience building and optimizing recruiting ops, including workflow automation.
Strong instincts for talent quality and bar-setting, including evaluating non-traditional candidate profiles.
Track record of creative, high-signal sourcing strategies.
Familiarity with recruiting tools such as Ashby, Juicebox, or Clay.
Experience with AI-assisted or "vibe coding" approaches to automate recruiting workflows.
Exposure to or ownership of People Ops/HR functions such as onboarding, performance reviews, and leveling.
Salary range: $100,000 – $150,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LocationOn-site in San Francisco, CA . Remote candidates will not be considered for this role.
