AP/AR Analyst
Location: Franklin, TN | Fully Onsite

Soni is partnering with a client in the Franklin area seeking an AP/AR Analyst to support process improvement initiatives across the revenue cycle and accounting functions. This role will focus on analyzing current workflows, building reporting and KPIs, and driving efficiencies across accounts receivable and accounts payable operations.

This is a fully onsite role in Franklin, TN , working closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to standardize processes and enhance performance.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and improve business processes across AR and AP functions, including billing, collections, cash applications, and vendor payments
• Identify best practices and implement process improvements in alignment with GAAP and business needs
• Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance and drive decision-making
• Partner with accounting leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Facilitate process improvement initiatives, including workshops and cross-functional collaboration
• Create and maintain documentation, including SOPs and process flows
• Train accounting staff on updated processes and procedures
• Evaluate the impact of process changes and adjust strategies as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Hands-on experience with accounting operations, including AP and/or AR (full-cycle experience)
• 2-4+ years of process improvement, financial analysis, or related experience
• Strong Excel skills required; experience with Power BI is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to manage projects, analyze data, and drive process improvements

Additional Details:

• Will work across both AR and AP functions, with initial focus on AR
• Ideal for candidates who have transitioned from accounting into a more analytical or process-focused role
• Domestic travel up to 1 week per month

Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
