Gastroenterology opening in West Virginia Located in Wheeling, WV - just 58 miles from Pittsburgh and 70 miles from Morgantown Full-time, permanent opening Hospital-employed Joining an established group Competitive compensation and benefits! Qualifications: Must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent Must be eligible for a WV state medical license Must be BC/BE Gastroenterology and completed an IM residency program, along with a GI fellowship program Health System: West Virginia's largest health system and the state's largest employer. The System has undergone significant expansion in specialty and sub-specialty care in areas such as cancer, heart and vascular, and neuroscience, among many others. The Health System operates West Virginia's first and only multi-organ transplant center, and opened a new, 150-bed Children s Hospital in September 2022. Community: Wheeling, WV is situated within an hour drive of Pittsburgh, PA. The area presents an unparalleled quality of life.
