Specialist, Event and Logistics

Position SummaryThe position is focused on the coordination and execution of producing and managing event setups and managing angler/fishing contractual products for Suzuki Marine. Responsible for the coordination and reporting of all digital, print, video, and media assets to be used for events, DSM boat shows, promotional, and social media including performance metrics.Principal TasksWork with internal and external teams to distribute effective print and digital advertising campaigns for corporate events, dealer boat shows, and open houses. Work with internal teams to distribute advertising assets to the correct channels. Manage incoming DSM POP and giveaway materials and event requests.Responsible for maintaining up-to-date with all engine models and consistent look throughout the dealer network regarding corporate booth events.Participate in the development of analytics/reporting needs for marketing and sales such as sales info by region. Support tracking and reporting of analytics across marketing channels (website, social media, publications, advertising, sales, events, and ensuring boat data is up to date).Assist in purchasing and managing inventory, order processing, and database maintenance as required for POP materials, events, boat shows, open houses, angler/sponsorships, etc.Facilitate communication with DSMs regarding event attendance, show schedules, and timing to ensure seamless coordination among marketing team members for logistics, website updates, social media promotions, and post-event reviews/reports.Coordinate the production and Brand image of all forms and touchpoints of advertising per event, quarterly, and seasonally. This includes boat builder and dealer websites, events, and other promotional items throughout the year. Work with the internal marketing team to manage these assets and maintain current up-to-date look after creation for Suzuki Marine.Coordinate and/or assist with promotional activities such as editor trips, major events, new product introductions, advertising campaigns, photoshoots, and boat shows as directed by the Marketing Manager.Main point of contact for all corporate displays regarding display assets. Responsible for making sure booth space, assets in the booth, and details for electrical, rigging, insurance, registrations, etc. are completed.Point of contact for all setup and tear down of corporate booths and displays. Is the first person on site and the last person to leave the space to correctly ensure setup and teardown. During the event being actively involved to make sure the booth is maintained to the highest standard for displaying Suzuki products.Attend Suzuki dealer events as the Suzuki lead in determining the optimal setup, layout, and choice of assets, leveraging expertise to ensure impactful branding and maximum exposure.Main point of contact for logistics partners and vendors regarding booth and show displays including shipping to and from shows and warehouses.Main point of contact for all contracted anglers and sponsors with Suzuki regarding motor requests, parts, and accessories requests.Keeps track of all contracted items to be shipped for all anglers and sponsors with Suzuki. This includes ordering, securely packaging, shipping, and verification of angler agreement details. Manage agreements, ordering and budget allocations for anglers.Other duties as needed.Minimum QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills.Must be proficient in using computers to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Ability to travel to events if/when needed including working weekends.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.Highly motivated and able to work independently.Well organized, detail oriented, deadline drivenValid drivers license in good standingMust be able to tow on the road and back up a trailer at the boat rampMust be able to launch a boat and operate a boat at variable speedsMust be able to lift 50 pounds.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations, other degrees considered.3 years’ of experience promoting marine products to the consumer, press, and industry.Forklift certified or able to complete certification in 6 months #J-18808-Ljbffr Suzuki Marine USA LLC
