BC Systems also operates an EMI test chamber, thermal chambers, and random vibration equipment to support rigorous product validation and reliability testing.Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.Position Summary: The Test Technician is responsible for performing electrical and functional testing of power supply products and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role supports production and engineering by troubleshooting assemblies to the component level, documenting test results, and assisting with failure analysis and corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, experience working with analog and digital circuitry, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Perform electrical, functional, and environmental testing of assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products in accordance with documented procedures and specificationsRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and test proceduresTroubleshoot electronic assemblies and systems to the component level and identify root causes of failuresConduct testing on switching power supplies and high-voltage productsUtilize standard laboratory and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power analyzers, hipot testers, electronic loads, and power suppliesAccurately document test results, failures, repairs, and corrective actionsWork closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve technical issues and improve product reliabilitySupport failure analysis and rework activities as neededVerify product compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirementsMaintain organized work areas, calibration awareness, and proper handling of test equipmentAssist in developing or improving test procedures and documentation when requiredFollow company safety procedures and manufacturing protocols at all timesPerform additional duties and support production activities as assignedRequirements:Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent certified technical trainingMinimum 2 years of experience as a Production Test Technician, Electronics Technician, Product Tester, or similar role in a manufacturing environmentExperience working with analog and digital circuitsSwitching power supply experience requiredExperience with high-voltage testing (>400VAC) preferredAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentationProficiency xhyhwjd in following documented test procedures and protocolsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficientlyKnowledge of appropriate electrical and electronic testing methodsExperience using industry-standard testing equipment and softwareProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organizational, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple prioritiesAbility to sit, stand, bend, and lift equipment/materials as required throughout the workdayMust be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident in accordance with ITAR requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in military, aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with IPC standards and electronic assembly practicesExperience supporting root cause investigations and corrective actionsKnowledge of quality systems and inspection documentation
