Guest Experience Server

The Server shall serve food to guests in the restaurant, providing fast, friendly, and courteous service in a team environment, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, and contributing to the operating success. Reporting Relationship The Server shall report directly to the Restaurant General Manager and/or Assistant Restaurant Manager& Server Shift Leader. Duties and Responsibilities Takes beverage and food orders and serves to customer. Computer bills accept different types of payment and make changes in a timely manner. Clears and resets tables. Ensures sufficient inventories are maintained to meet the needs of the food and beverage operation. Must be friendly and courteous at all times, ensuring excellent customer and employee relations and adhere to the established Dress Code. Must maintain a clean, safe work environment before, during and after service, in a team effort to maximize employee efficiency and guest satisfaction. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Take oral and written instructions and the ability to effectively communicate. Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Must be able to perform multiple tasks in a friendly/fast manner. Willing to work odd, irregular hours in a restaurant environment that is open seven days/week. Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems. Must possess a high level of maturity with leadership qualities. Must possess a valid state driver’s license or state ID. Must be willing to cross train for all positions as assigned by management. Ability to comply with all other requirements as specified within the CIEDA Personnel Policies and Procedures. Internal Promotion must work as a server for 6 months, complete 90-day probational period and meet basic positional requirements be in a level (1) position in a direct line skill set or transfer to a direct line skill set at a level (1) for 6 months. Must work as a Server (1) 6 months and be certified in all positional requirements, pass interview, & a positional slot is available to move to a Server Shift Leader.
