Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a small, rural facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specialties and must be able to work independently. This role requires a nurse who can hit the ground running and adapt to various patient populations, from newborns to geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and PCU settings.
• Conduct cardiac monitoring and manage patient assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality care.
• Maintain optimal nurse-to-patient ratios based on acuity.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 3+ years of experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry nursing.
• Basic dysrhythmia test, with proof documented in the profile.
• Active RN license in New Hampshire or Compact.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Rural or small facility experience is preferred.
• Must own a vehicle for transportation related to the assignment.
