Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking a Cardiac Device RN to provide specialized outpatient care for cardiac patients with implanted devices. The role involves managing and monitoring implantable rhythm management devices with a focus on patient safety and device performance.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform technical management and troubleshooting of implanted cardiac rhythm management devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators.
  
  
• 
  Conduct patient assessments, including device interrogation and function testing.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of device status, patient data, and procedural details.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with cardiology teams to optimize patient care and device performance.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with certification requirements and clinic policies.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on device use, post-procedure care, and lifestyle considerations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active nursing license and demonstrate at least 2 years of EPIC EMR experience within the last 2 years.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS certification and completion of a pacemaker/ICD technician program or equivalent.
  
  
• 
  Have knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiovascular physiology, and device troubleshooting.
  
  
• 
  Preferred certifications: CCDS or CDRMS.
  
  
• 
  Able to work independently in a clinic setting without on-call or weekend requirements.
  
  
• 
  Must have reliable transportation and the ability to start by 8/31.
