Medical Office Assistant

$26 - $28 per hour

Our client is is seeking a fully on-site Medical Office Assistant to join their team. The Medical Office Assistant work closely with patients in a busy clinic setting to complete health assessments.

Pay: $26-28/hr

Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, PTO

Location: Chico, CA

Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

Work closely with patients to administer health questioners and assessments.
Document patient notes and create patient activity calendars.
Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with patients, staff, and providers.
In downtime, complete professional development activities..
Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced medical practice
Must have CNA, CMA, LPN or similar certification
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards
Must show high level of personal integrity and ability to maintain confidential information
Well organized and be able to thrive in a highly independent working environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft based software and various web-based software and technology
