This full-time or hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex patent, trademark, and other IP litigation matters in federal courts across the United States. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3-4 years of experience in IP litigation, particularly patent litigation, with strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Duties: Handle a wide range of IP litigation matters, with a focus on patent and trademark disputes. Conduct written discovery, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Prepare for and take depositions, working with experts to build strong cases. Provide litigation support, including trial preparation, research, and strategic analysis. Represent clients in court and participate in hearings and motions. Collaborate with colleagues to manage complex cases and ensure successful outcomes. Stay updated on current IP law developments, especially patent law, to provide proactive legal advice. Requirements: At least 3-4 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, particularly patent and trademark disputes. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage and prioritize complex cases efficiently. Excellent communication and client interaction skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Knowledge of litigation processes, including preparing cases for trial and working with experts. Experience with patent trial procedures and PTAB (Patent Trial and Appeal Board) is a plus. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction (Washington, D.C., or the ability to become admitted). Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the relevant state Bar is required. Skills: Proficiency in intellectual property law, including patents and trademarks. Expertise in written discovery, drafting legal documents, and case management.
