Software Engineer

Salary: $134,000 - 134,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a strong background in software engineering, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience.
• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, information management, or a closely related discipline.
• We accept equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and experience, including 18 years of specialized experience, or 14 years plus a major IT certification or associates degree, or 10 years plus a bachelors degree, or 7 years plus a masters degree.
• We require an IA Technical Level II certification or higher, such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, CND, CCNA-Security, or GICSP.
• We require the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• We require willingness to relocate to and work in Kaiserslautern, Germany for 1–2 years.

• We debug and troubleshoot front-end and back-end code, identifying defects and recommending practical fixes.
• We use Git for version control and collaborate through platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
• We write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Selenium to protect code quality.
• We document code, APIs, and system architecture to support future maintenance and team alignment.
• We work closely with full-stack configuration staff, data scientists, and analysts to keep project objectives aligned.
• We analyze datasets for descriptive and predictive purposes across platforms including Palantir, TDP, Microsoft, Advana, and cloud environments.
• We configure data pipelines across multiple platforms, using existing integrations and building new API connections when needed.
• We use low-code and no-code platform capabilities to build decision-support tools.
• We configure Python, SQL, and R solutions to develop decision-support tools.
• We enhance advanced analytical models by applying AI and machine learning techniques.
• We create and maintain historical datasets of relevant parameters across multiple data platforms.
• We build new mathematical models and refine existing ones using historical data.
