Hospitalist Physician Assistant

Location Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Opportunity Hospitalist Physician Assistant position with flexible full-time and part-time scheduling options, offering a high level of autonomy within a collaborative, team-oriented hospital medicine program. Details Full‑time and part‑time opportunities with a 7‑on / 7‑off scheduling model. Day shift: 7:00am – 5:00pm (average 12 patients per shift). Swing shift: 4:00pm – 2:00am (average 7–8 admissions per shift). High autonomy within a supportive team structure. No direct ICU coverage (physician support available for medical management when needed). Active participation in codes and rapid response events when applicable. Daily team huddles and monthly meetings focused on collaboration and patient experience. Utilizes EPIC and internal informatics platforms. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of acute care hospitalist experience preferred. Board certification as a Physician Assistant required. Strong culture of teamwork, professional development, and community involvement. Compensation $120,000+ depending on shift, plus incentives.
