About the HR Generalist Role That same level of care extends to how we operate internally. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support core HR operations while serving as a trusted resource to employees and managers. This role balances administrative excellence with sound judgment, responsiveness, and follow-through. What You’ll Do HR Operations & Administration Support onboarding, off boarding, employee changes, and accurate personnel record management Maintain HRIS data accuracy and ensure proper documentation Keep HR processes organized and running efficiently Employee Relations & Support Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and day-to-day concerns Support managers and employees in addressing workplace issues, escalating more complex situations as appropriate Ensure concerns are handled fairly, consistently, and with appropriate documentation Benefits & Leave Management Administer employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, disability, 401k, etc.), including enrollments and changes Coordinate with external vendors and respond to employee benefit questions Support leave of absence processes (FMLA, parental, medical), including tracking and communication Policy & Compliance Support maintenance and communication of company policies Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Assist with audits, record keeping, and other compliance-related work Culture & Engagement Assist with employee engagement efforts, recognition programs, and team initiatives Support internal communications and People team programs Reporting & Projects Track and report on core HR metrics such as headcount and turnover Contribute to process improvements and ad hoc People projects as needed What Success Looks Like HR operations runs accurately, smoothly and consistently Employees and managers receive timely support Employee concerns are addressed thoughtfully, with appropriate documentation and escalation HR data and documentation are accurate and well maintained Benefits and leave processes are clear and efficient Priorities are managed effectively in a fast-paced environment Processes are improved without unnecessary complexity Work is executed with professionalism, discretion, and integrity What You’ll Bring to the Table Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, preferred 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or similar HR role Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfort handling both administrative responsibilities and employee-facing situations Sound judgment and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with HRIS platforms and standard office tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office What Audiochuck will bring to the table: Commitment to intentional leadership development for all employees Dedication to company culture and promoting mental health A talented team of collaborative and passionate employees to support your work An appreciation for diverse work experience and backgrounds A chance to work on shows from a leading network for true crime podcasts Competitive base salary and bonus incentives Comprehensive benefit plan 401(k) retirement plan with match Paid time off Team events and activities This is a full-time, in-person position located in Indianapolis, Indiana. #J-18808-Ljbffr
