Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Shepherdsville, KY Shift Hours: First Shift | Full-Time About the Role Our client is seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations, improve processes, and ensure safe, efficient manufacturing of assemblies and end products. This role will play a key part in fixture design, process optimization, ergonomics, and safety compliance within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Provide engineering support for the design and manufacturing of fixtures, machines, and tools Conduct time studies and evaluate equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes Improve ergonomics, mistake‑proofing, and overall ease of assembly Partner with EHS to ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards Assist with Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) and risk mitigation Investigate accidents and support implementation of corrective actions Conduct plant safety audits and recommend process improvements Review new equipment and machinery for safety and compliance standards Monitor environmental conditions (noise, dust, fumes, etc.) and ensure safe exposure levels Support ISO 14001 and quality/environmental management systems Collaborate with Quality to ensure proper in‑process inspection methods Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive or assembly environments Knowledge of ergonomics, safety standards, and OSHA regulations Proficiency with AutoCAD and standard computer applications (Excel, Word, databases) Experience with FMEA, process improvement, and time studies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, quality, and safety teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
