Assembler II

Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm or 7:00am-5:30pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $16.25/hour

Job Summary

Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, using a variety of tools, and being part of a team that values safety, quality, and efficiency? We’re seeking an Assembler II to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the production process by assembling components, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assembler II, your core responsibilities will include:

Assembly Work: Assemble, operate, and disassemble materials and components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
Quality & Inspection: Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy while palletizing completed units for shipment.
Workstation Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation while supporting lean manufacturing practices.

In addition, you will also requisition parts and supplies as needed, participate in cross-training opportunities, and identify/report unsafe conditions or production issues.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

Less than high school education; up to 6 months related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but routine instructions and solve basic problems

Skills:

Tool Proficiency: Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively
Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in assembly work and quality inspections
Basic Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Teamwork & Communication: Strong communication skills with a willingness to cross-train and support team goals
Safety Awareness: Commitment to working safely while meeting productivity expectations
