The Lockbox Processor ensures the accurate and timely handling of customer payments by preparing and processing transactions according to strict account specifications and security standards. This is a vital role for someone who takes pride in high-precision work and thrives in an environment where every detail counts.What you will do:Receive, sort, and scan/process all classes of United States Postal Service (USPS) mailCapture, check, and document images utilizing high-speed imaging equipmentPrepare documents for efficient processing, ensuring that all necessary materials and capacity are available to complete each transactionVerify that all equipment is fully operationalMaintain consistent productivity and quality levels to meet department goalsClean and maintain office equipment and scannerLift heavy boxes, files, or paper as neededTest imaging software and system updates as neededProvides exceptional customer care with a friendly, professional, and cooperative attitudeAdheres strictly to all safety procedures and business guidelinesWhat you will bring:Ability to read and understand written instructions (including process, policy and procedures manuals) and correspondenceProficiency in organizing thoughts and delivering clear verbal and written communications to all levels within the organizationThe skill set to identify and communicate technical problems to IT staff for swift system resolutionHigh interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and a naturally customer-focused mindsetA strong ethical foundation, which is essential for handling sensitive financial dataDesire for accuracy and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements1+ year(s) of business experienceA high school diploma or GED (required), while an Associate's degree is preferredBenefits and Compensation:The hourly range is $15.00 - $16.50 + a one time $500 sign on bonus.
