Role Overview Your nutritional know-how can help patients in your community live happier, healthier lives. Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team at Oklahoma Children's Hospital at OU Health. This is a large teaching facility located in Oklahoma City, OK. Position will work full time with benefits and primary coverage will be on general medical surgical units with opportunity to cross-train in specialty areas of interest as desired. Additional duties could include flex coverage on other hospital units and rounding with medical teams. Schedule will be M-F with rotating weekends and occasional holidays. What You'll Do Position will report to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate will: Have ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and use good judgment to make decisions and work within a self-directed team oriented work environment Position will be primarily responsible for covering general medical and surgical units as well as occasional weekends and holidays. Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups including critical care unit rounding teams Possess excellent time management and organizational skills Perform comprehensive nutritional evaluations and follow up including experience with nutrition support assessments What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
