Commercial Analytics Engineer

Remote opportunity for Commercial Analytics Engineer Must haves: Strong SQL (joins, window functions, de-duplication) and working Python. Consulting or client-facing background; ideally 1 to 2 years at a Big 4 analytics practice, strategy firm data arm (BCG X, QuantumBlack, Accenture Song), or boutique analytics firm followed by in-house experience; startup experience considered Has built presentations and dashboards for senior stakeholders and handles tough feedback well Strong eye for information design — knows what to cut and how to make a chart readable in five seconds Ownership mindset; treats a dashboard or pipeline as theirs to keep running, not waiting to be assigned the next ticket Rigor and healthy skepticism; checks totals by reflex before sharing anything Nice to haves: Hospitality, cruise, travel, luxury, or DTC experience Hands-on Snowflake, Sigma, Tableau, Looker, dbt, or Salesforce data experience Uses AI coding tools and verifies what they produce What they will be doing: Owning recurring commercial reporting including weekly performance reports and dashboards built in Sigma on Snowflake Building and maintaining data pipelines and SQL models; automating reporting with Python Reconciling numbers before they reach leadership and investigating discrepancies Turning analysis into clear executive presentations and dashboards for marketing, sales, and finance teams Answering business questions end to end from pulling the data through to the recommendation
