Senior Management Analyst

The City of Elk Grove is currently accepting applications for Senior Management Analyst to join the Finance Department. This position is responsible for performing complex analytical, operational, financial, and programmatic assignments in support of departmental and organizational initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the ideal candidate will possess progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, organizational improvement, compliance oversight, project management, and operational support. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled problem solver with experience in grants administration, procurement coordination, ERP systems, policy development, process improvement, and strategic project implementation.

Presenting information to executive leadership, committees, and the City Council are required as part of this position. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to manage complex assignments independently, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. The ideal candidate will also be innovative, adaptable, and capable of identifying opportunities to improve organizational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and modernize business practices.
