Field Services TechnicianThe Field Services Technician will hold a full-time, permanent position within our Operations and Maintenance division at our Spring, TX location. This hands-on role is responsible for performing essential fieldwork related to water and wastewater systems across assigned service areas. Reporting to the Field Services Supervisor, the technician will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure efficient operations and excellent service delivery.We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including:Health Insurance, Dental, Vision & TelemedicineHealth Savings AccountLife Insurance401K Retirement Plan with Employer ContributionsPaid Vacation & Sick DaysCompensation will be based on the candidate's experience, certifications, and qualificationsJob Responsibilities:Attend daily department meetings to receive and prioritize work ordersReview and organize daily tickets for efficient route planningDrive to assigned service areas and maintain communication with Customer Service RepresentativesCheck in and out with Customer Service when entering or leaving each district and before returning to the officeDocument all completed and incomplete work tickets and submit them dailyEssential Field Tasks:Turn water service on and off using appropriate toolsRead and verify in-ground metersLock meters and inspect for leaks or malfunctionsIdentify sewer stoppages and determine responsibilityAssist in clearing sewer stoppages as neededInspect water leaks and perform minor repairsConduct sewer system inspections and pre/post-construction assessmentsInstall, replace, or remove in-ground meters and related componentsReplace meter boxes or lidsSupport Construction and Operations departments as directed by supervisorRequired Qualifications:Must be 18 years or olderAbility to perform physically demanding work (bending, digging, lifting, stooping, kneeling)Valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordExcellent communication and customer interaction skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailMust pass a background check and motor vehicle record screening
