Overview: Sterling Engineering is partnering with an architectural cable and wire manufacturer to hire a Project Coordinator. This role blends direct customer outreach with heavy, detail-driven data entry into the client's CRM, HubSpot, which is launching company-wide next month. The ideal candidate brings prior CRM experience, advanced organizational skills, and the ability to juggle outreach, project coordination, and light estimating work in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Addison, IL 60101

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Compensation : $65,000 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Must-Have Skill Set : Prior CRM experience is required; advanced organizational skills are essential

Job Duties :

• Serve as a point of contact for prospective and existing customers
• Proactively reach out to warm and cold leads via email, phone, and social platforms
• Create basic estimates and follow up on quotes, inquiries, and proposals to help convert interest into sales
• Educate clients on the company's products and services, highlighting key benefits and applications
• Perform heavy, accurate data entry into the CRM (HubSpot, launching next month), keying in all critical customer and project information
• Assist the sales/estimating team with tracking project timelines, deliverables, and deadlines
• Hold weekly meetings to follow up on projects and help bring orders over the finish line
• Communicate with internal departments to ensure product availability and timely delivery
• Organize customer files, quotes, and communications in the CRM and project management tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the sales process
• Manage incoming calls and inquiries and route them to the appropriate individuals

Requirements :

• Must Have: Prior experience working in a CRM is required
• Must Have : 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales coordination, or project management
• Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to manage detailed, high-volume data entry accurately
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
• Comfort with basic estimating tasks
• Experience in architecture, construction, or manufacturing is a plus
