Distribution Associate II

The Distribution Associate is responsible for performing a variety of manual and clerical tasks related to the receiving, storage, and shipment of materials and finished products within a warehouse environment. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and attendance. Associates will primarily operate stand-up forklifts and must be comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced team environment with variable workloads throughout the year.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklifts as the primary material handling equipment
• Receive incoming goods, verify shipments against records, and inspect product condition
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods
• Record received and shipped materials using written and computerized systems
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to appropriate inspection or stock locations
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

Job Requirements

• Primary experience operating stand-up forklifts
• Minimum of 2 years of stand-up forklift experience or 3 years of sit-down forklift experience
• Ability to work extended hours during peak periods, including occasional Saturdays
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Commitment to safety, attendance, and teamwork
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Experience

• At least 1 year of related warehouse or distribution experience
• Forklift certification preferred
