Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Clifton Park, NY laboratory location. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and delivering customer service in a patient service center or client office setting. Monday–Friday 7:00 am–4:00 pm with rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and process billing accurately and timely
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- 3+ months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Preferred: 1+ year phlebotomy experience
Compensation: $17.75 - $21.00 per hour
