Roadside Technician Commercial Tires - Whitsett, NC

Job Overview Starting pay: $17–$23 per hour. The Roadside Technician is an emergency response tire technician for semi‑truck fleets who travels to customer locations to repair or replace tires. Responsibilities Respond to on‑call and after‑hours service requests to repair or replace commercial tires. Mount, dismount, and repair tires, perform match mounting, mating of dual assemblies, radial runout, and inflate tires to prescribed PSI. Maintain shop by mounting orders, cleaning, and organizing equipment. Comply with OSHA regulations, wear proper PPE, and follow safety policies. Shift Information Includes mandatory on‑call rotation. After‑hours calls are compensated at a premium pay rate with guaranteed minimums. Qualifications Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements. Minimum age: 21. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous commercial service tire experience preferred.
