UX Researcher for AI Training

Apply your user research expertise to a customer''s active project and help shape how next-generation AI systems learn and behave. This remote contractor role based in the United States focuses on producing high-quality, real-world UX research inputs that inform design decisions and AI training. No prior experience in AI is required, domain and UX research skills are what matter.

• Plan and conduct user research sessions to uncover user behaviors, motivations, and pain points across digital products.
• Design, run, and evaluate usability tests to assess functionality and interface intuitiveness.
• Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable design recommendations.
• Collaborate with UX and UI designers to translate research findings into user-centered design solutions.
• Create clear deliverables such as reports, personas, journey maps, and stakeholder presentations.
• Recommend enhancements aligned with current UX trends and accessibility standards.
• Provide real-world scenarios and detailed feedback that contribute to training and evaluating AI systems.

• Demonstrated expertise in UX Research, user research, and usability testing.
• Experience with UX/UI design practices and familiarity with common UX tools and methods.
• Proven experience designing and conducting both remote and in-person research studies.
• Strong analytical ability to translate complex data into meaningful recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and detail.
• Comfort working independently in a distributed setting and managing multiple research assignments.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and adapting to fast changing project requirements.
• No prior AI experience required, subject matter expertise and UX skills are the priority.
